Acer has launched a slew of Android smartphones in Australia today. These smartphones include Acer beTouch E120 and E130, Liquid E, Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition, and Acer Stream.
As, Acer has not partnered with any carriers for the local launch, so all the smartphones will be available unlocked & as outright purchase.

All the five Android phones will be available in the market this month. They will be distributed by Ingram Micro and will be sold through major retailers including Harvey Norman.
Talking about the Android version on these phones, beTouch E120 and E130 units both run the outdated 1.6 version, while the Liquid E, Liquid E Ferrari and the Stream all run the 2.1 “Éclair” versions. Acer claims the smartphones will be upgradeable to Android 2.2, dubbed “Froyo,” sometime in 2011.
Acer beTouch E120 has a relatively small 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen, while beTouch E130 differs from its sibling primarily in the form of a fixed QWERTY keyboard.

Acer Liquid E comes with 3.5” WVGA display, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, 5 megapixel camera, and Android 2.1.
Acer Stream boasts HD video recording, a 3.7in AMOLED display, Dolby mobile sound and an HDMI-out port.
