The recent natural disasters in Japan have not deterred LG from launching its Honeycomb powered tablet Optimus Pad in the country.
“There’s no reason to believe there will be any delay from our previous estimate,” Ken Hong, a Seoul-based spokesman for the world’s third-largest handset maker told Bloomberg today.
NTT Docomo, which is the exclusively releasing the tablet in Japan, has already starting taking the pre-orders from March 15 and shipments will begin from month end.
If the launch goes on time, Japan will be the first country to get the tablet.
