It isn’t just high-end Android smartphones that will show its face at Sony Ericsson stall at CES 2012, but an entry level device is also expected to be revealed at the event. Leaked via AnTuTu Benchmark, this smartphone will be dubbed as ST21i/ST21a and has been code-named as Tapioca.
Sony Ericsson ST21i will come with an 800MHz processor, 3.2 inch display with 320X480p resolution, 3.2MP camera, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. At these specifications, it might be priced around $200 (under INR 10K in India). It will come with Android 2.3.5 on-board.
Looking at SE’s current track record with ICS updates, it might get ICS update, but we are not sure if hardware will support smooth functioning of 4.0 on this phone.
Other SE smartphone that are expected to be launched at next month’s CES fair are Sony Ericsson Xperia arc HD aka Nozomi, SE LT28at and SE Pepper.
