CES “Press Day” Round-Up – Asus, Sony, Huawei, Motorola launch devices

The Press Day at Consumers Electronics Show just came to an end. As expected the day was full of announcements, press conferences, and developer summits. Several new smartphones, tablets and Google TV devices were launched. Sony was the hero of the day with two new smartphones, Google TV devices and Smart Accessories. Huawei contributed with its first Android super phone and Asus showed couple of tablets.

Altogether, it was a great day filled with Android goodness. As usual, we reported all the major announcements from CES and here are links to some of the most important stories.

  1. Huawei launches world’ thinnest Android smartphone ‘Ascend P1 S’ – 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD 960 x 540 display, 6.68 mm thick body, ICS, and 1.5GHz dual core processor.

  6. Sony Xperia Ion official; 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 4.6-inch 720p display inside
