Samsung has announced yet another addition to its Galaxy Player line-up today in the form of Galaxy Player 5.8. This Android media player comes with Ice Cream Sandwich on-board; however company is yet to reveal the availability or the pricing of this device.
The media player also features 5.8-inch qHD 960x540p display, 2500mAh battery, 16/32GB internal storage, microSD slot and front-facing VGA camera. Galaxy Player 5.8 will also allow users to download Android apps from Google Play Store.
There is no word on the processor inside this device, but this Galaxy S III look-alike will most probably have a dual-core processor on-board.
As Galaxy Player devices are released in select market only, it is very possible that we won’t ever see it in India.
