It seems Black wasn’t the only new colour option for the ultra-successful Galaxy S III, but three more colour variants are coming for this Samsung flagship smartphone.
The Korean manufacturer today announced that SGS III will now be available in Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey colours. Samsung however was mum on how soon can we get these colour models in the market or which colours will be available in which countries.
Samsung claimed that the new colours take their inspiration from the Earth’s richest materials.
“Every inch of the Samsung Galaxy S III has been created to reflect the natural elements that inspired its ergonomic design, from the softly shaped curvature to the minimized bezel. By expanding the colour range of the Galaxy S III we are continuing to evolve the Minimal Organic design theme of the handset. The colour options we have added evoke the phone’s emotional and natural aspects in a very simple but effective way.”
Minhyouk Lee, VP and lead designer of Galaxy S III at Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy S III was only available in two colour variants at launch – Ceramic White and Pebble Blue, but with four new options, Galaxy S III now has six nature inspired shades to choose from.
Samsung Galaxy S III was announced in May and it comes with 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8MP rear camera, front camera, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0 and Touchwiz Nature UX.
Company is also planning to release Jelly Bean update for the phone very soon; more details are likely to be shared at IFA.
