Continuing its alphabet-based naming scheme, Sony is likely to brand C530X (aka HuaShan) as Xperia SP, revealed the website of Indonesia’s telecom equipment certification agency. We also have the final branding for another Sony smartphone C210X, which will be released as Xperia L.
Both Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L are likely to be announced at next month’s Mobile World Congress. Sony has already announced its flagship smartphone Xperia Z at Consumer Electronics Show and it is likely that company will showcase it mid-range offerings at MWC.
Previous reports indicate Sony Xperia SP will come with Qualcomm MSM8960 dual-core processor, 720p display, and Adreno 320 GPU. On the other hand, Xperia L is rumoured to feature FWVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor with Adreno 305 GPU. Both the smartphone are said to be running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
There are no other details available about the devices right now, but we surely hope to hear more before the actual launch in Barcelona.
