Huawei has launched a new Android smartphone in the Japanese market. Dubbed as Stream X GL07S, the phone will be released by E-Mobile in the country. The phone seems to be a variant for company’s upcoming Ascend P2 smartphone, which is scheduled to be announced at MWC 2013, but specs don’t match.
Huawei Stream X features a 4.7-inch 720p display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.5GHz quad-core HiSilicon K3V2 processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 2350 mAh battery. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, and LTE connectivity.
Stream X is set to go on sale beginning March 7 in the country, however there is no word on the pricing.
Huawei is holding a press event at Mobile World Congress and we hope to hear more about Stream X as well as Ascend P2 there.
