A report originating from Germany blog ‘All About Samsung’ reveals that the rumoured Galaxy S4 Mini will be packing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor instead of previously rumoured Exynos 5 dual.
The blog was also able to confirm some of the previously leaked specifications like qHD display with 240 PPI, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera and 1.5GB of RAM.
Given the number of smartphones Samsung produces each year, it is not surprising that the company is dependent on companies like Qualcomm despite making its own chips, but this year particularly Samsung has struggled with its Exynos 5 Octa chip. Even the upcoming Note III smartphone is rumoured to be sporting Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor rather than Exynos 5 Octa.
Coming back to S4 Mini, It is pretty certain right now that we are going to see the launch of Galaxy S4 Mini and other S4 variants at the June 20 Samsung event in London. As always, we will be bringing you all the details, so keep coming back.
