Samsung’s first Android camera phone to be called Galaxy S4 Zoom

Samsung LogoSamsung is reportedly planning to launch its first Android camera phone soon. According to a report on SamMobile, the phone will be dubbed as Galaxy S4 Zoom. The company clearly seems to be planning to cash the Galaxy S4 popularity with the phone as apart from the camera sensor; every other feature on its rumoured smartphone is mid-range.

SamMobile notes that Galaxy S4 Zoom will pack a 16-megapixels rear camera sensor. The phone will also come with 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, Jelly Bean, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and the usual connectivity options.

The phone carried SM-C1010 model number and will be sold in Black and White colours. The is no word on the processor or RAM in the phone, however we should probably be hearing about the it from the company very soon, as the phone is expected to arrive around June/ July.

In related news, Samsung is also planning to introduce a new colour options – Brown Black for Galaxy Note 8.0. The new version is expected to be announced around June 17, 2013.
