Multiple reports originating from Taiwan indicate that HTC’s Butterfly S might be coming very soon, followed by HTC M4. Reports also suggest that both the phones will pack Ultrapixel cameras despite the not-so-great feedback for HTC One camera.
According to a report in eprice.com.tw, HTC Butterfly S is going to be an upgraded version of the original Butterfly rather than a full-blown successor. Butterfly S will pack a 5-inch full HD display and an upgraded processor (probably Snapdragon 600). The phone is also rumoured to be coming with Ultrapixel camera and a large battery alongside microSD card slot.
Another source Digitimes adds that Butterfly S will be available in June, which is currently underway, so we should expect an announcement in the coming weeks.
On the other hand, HTC M4 is reportedly going in volume production next month, meaning the launch could be scheduled for late July or even early August.
HTC M4, which is also known as One Mini, is rumoured to come with 4.3-inch 720p display, dual-core CPU (probably Snapdragon 400), Ultrapixel camera and Android 4.2. The phone will also pack 1700 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
HTC M4 sports design very similar to HTC One as we had seen in the leaked press render some time ago.
Digitimes also notes that the rumoured 5.9-inch HTC T6 will pack a metal chassis like HTC One.
