HTC has shared its revenue figures of the month of May today, showing the rise in revenue for the third consecutive month. The company posted a total of NT$29 billion revenue for last month, which is almost NT$10 billion more than April 2013.
These numbers are still far below than the company’s best days but May has turned out to be HTC’s best month in terms of revenue since June 2012.
Despite this good showing by the company, not everything is well at the Taiwanese manufacturer. The continuous departure of executives from HTC does not seem to be stopping as HTC COO Matthew Costello is the latest one to leave the firm.
According to a report in Bloomberg, Fred Liu, who is the current president of engineering and operations at HTC, will take on Costello’s responsibilities in an expanded role covering operations, quality, sales operations and services.
The report also adds that Costello will stay on as an executive adviser to the company.
HTC, which posted its worst quarterly results last month, has seen some key executives from the headquarter as well as regional offices leave it in the last few weeks.
