Gmail v4.5 for Android starts rolling out

Gmail for AndroidGoogle has started rolling-out the recently announced Gmail for Android version 4.5 via Google Play. As the update is being pushed in a staged manner, chances are that it won’t immediately show up on your Android device’s Play Store client.

With staged roll-outs, sometimes it can take up to weeks before the update reaches all devices, so if you can’t wait, you can grab the updated APK file from the link given below and directly install on your Android device.

The new Gmail update brings categories to Gmail, which show up as tabs in your inbox and automatically sort the incoming mail in pre-select categories. There are a total of five categories, you can select the ones you want or even none of them.
