We have seen enough leaks to know that HTC One mini is real and now even HTC has acknowledged that with a subtle teaser on its official blog.
The company posted ‘little things that pack a big punch’ infographic yesterday, which clearly hints at the upcoming One mini smartphone. HTC talks about the greatness of its flagship HTC One in this blog post then goes on to say that the successor of HTC One boosted their passion to bring the One experience to as many people as possible – again a very subtle indication to One mini.
There is no word on the exact date of HTC One mini announcement but as per the latest report, we might see the unveiling of this phone in later this month or early August.
Rumours and leaks indicate that HTC One mini will come with Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5, 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor and 4.3-inch 720p display. The phone will also packs 4MP Ultrapixel camera and 1700 mAh battery.
In related news, we are also hearing that HTC’s first phablet and a giant version of HTC One – One Max will be announced in early-September to take on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 and Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra.
