Asus seems to be planning a tablet onslaught in the coming weeks. Specifications of three of its upcoming tablets FonePad HD 7, MeMo Pad HD 10 and MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE were leaked on a South African computer retailer website along with their expected pricing.
Some of these tablets were also listed in a recently leaked Asus roadmap, confirming that these are indeed the real deal.
Coming to the tablets, as per the retailer listing Asus FonePad HD 7 (ME372CG-1B015A/11B016A) will come with Intel Clover Trail Plus Z2560 1.6GHz processor, Android 4.2, 7-inch IPS display with 1280x800p resolution and 5MP rear camera. It is expected to be priced at 3,170 Rands ($316) for 16GB version and 3,705 Rands ($371) for 32GB version.
On the other hand, Asus MeMo Pad HD HD 10 (ME102A-1A008A) tablet will feature 1.6GHz quad-core Rockchip 101 processor, 10-inch IPS display with OGS/GFF and 1280x800p resolution, 2MP rear camera and Android 4.2. It will also come with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 3G and Wi-Fi. It is expected to be priced at 3,240 Rands ($324).
Lastly, Asus MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE (ME302KL-1A001A) tablet will come with 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Android 4.2, 10-1-inch 1920X1200p display, 5MP rear camera, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. In addition, the tablet will pack 3G and 1.2MP front camera. It is expected to be priced around 6,345 Rands ($636).
There is no word on the exact release date of these tablets but we expect to see them before or at IFA trade fair.
