While we are waiting for HTC to launch the rumoured HTC One Max smartphone, another smartphone from the company has been spotted in China. There is no information on the name of the phone right now or codename for that matter but the leaked images show a device, which is yet to be released.
According to a Weibo user, the phone is said to be packing a 4-inch WVGA display, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Other rumoured specifications of the phone include 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and the Sense user interface (probably version 5.0).
Considering these specs, the phone seems to be a mid-range device and even the leaked pricing of 1299 yuan or ($210) suggests the same. There is no word on the release date right now or whether the phone will be launched outside China.
HTC 301e spotted on TENAA
In related news, another HTC Android phone has appeared online, this time via Chinese telecom certification site TENAA. Dubbed as HTC 301e, the smartphone is said to sporting a 4.3-inch WVGA display.
Other specs of the phone include 512MB RAM, 1GHz dual-core processor, 3G, 8GB of internal storage, 5MP rear camera, front camera, dual-SIM support and microSD card slot. There is no word on pricing or availability details of this phone.
The phone looks quite similar to the mystery HTC phone that we talked about earlier in the post but considering the different specs, we are taking these two as different models unless one of the sources got the specs wrong. We will have a clear idea in the days to come.
