Just a day before the official unveiling in China, HTC’s upcoming phablet One max has been revealed in high-resolution images. These images are in line with what we have been seeing in the leaks until now.
With already leaked full specifications and price, there is hardly anything left for HTC to reveal on October 15. It will probably announce the Asia release dates.
To remind you, HTC One max is expected to come with 5.9-inch full HD display, 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and Ultrapixel rear camera. It will also pack 2.1MP front camera, 3300 mAh battery, NFC and fingerprint scanner.
With the release of HTC One max, HTC’s 2013 One-line-up will be complete with a total of three phones. Already rumoured to be in talks of acquisition, HTC really needs a huge hit in One max but thanks to the 5.9-inch display, it is not going to be the one. It is a niche smartphone and will probably be sold in smaller numbers..
The phone is also going against Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, which has already got a head-start and comes with huge marketing muscle behind it.
