Looks like we are finally going to see the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kitkat announcement today and the phone will be available in the United States (and probably select other countries) beginning tomorrow. While, we wait for the official release, Nexus 5 leaks are coming from all over and we will be sharing the most interesting ones in this post.
A reddit user, who has got hold of a Nexus 5 unit, revealed that Nexus 5 will come with Moto X like touchless control support. We are not sure if this is going to be a Kitkat feature or something exclusive to Nexus devices. This reddit user has also stated that there is complete backup solution built in Android 4.4, you can save app data, app settings and more.
In addition, Nexus 5 users will get the Android 4.4.1 update immediately after booting up the phone, the update is 139MB in size and probably includes last-minute fixes.
In other reports, Nexus 5 stocks have already started reaching stores in not just US and Canada, even Carphone Warehouse has got Nexus 5 stocks in UK.
Talking about another leak, high-resolution images of the Nexus 5 internals have been shared by Fanatic Fone blog. Check out these images below.
