Samsung India is getting ready to launch the successor to Galaxy S Duos smartphone in the form of Galaxy S Duos 2 very soon. The company has already started importing the smartphone in the country and it will soon be officially released.
According to mobile phone retailer Mahesh Telecom, Galaxy S Duos 2 will be priced at INR 11,230 (MRP) with a best buy price of INR 10,990.
As the smartphone hasn’t been officially announced anywhere in the world right now, the information is a little scarce, however we were able to spot the phone on the support website of Samsung Africa. This website also houses the official user manual of the phone, which was uploaded just ten days ago.
In a separate leak, Hungarian site Tech2.hu was able to get some specifications as well as promo images of the phone, which have revealed some key details abut the device.
According to the website, Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 will feature Android 4.2, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal storage, 768MB of RAM, 1500 mAh battery and 4-inch WVGA display. As you can see, there is not much difference between S Duos 2 and original S Duos apart from the upgraded processor and Android version.
We are keeping track of the phone and will let you guys know as soon as we got some more information.
