Google has launched Android Device Manager app in Google Play to help you locate your other Android devices, wipe them if necessary or even set up a new lock-screen password.
This app mirrors the functionality, which is available on the web version of Android Device Manager since launch. Your device specific settings are still accessible from Google Settings app on your Android device and cannot be controlled using the Android Device Manager app.

In related news, Google has released an updated version of Gmail Android app in Google Play. This version adds vacation responder, attachment support for any file type and more.
“If you forget to set a vacation responder as you scramble to pack for a flight, you’re in luck since you can now create or update an auto responder message right in the Gmail app on Android,” Gmail team noted in a Google+ post.
In addition, you can now send attachments of any file type, be it documents, PDFs, or even zip files. This is not all, you can also print hard copies of your emails using Cloud Print on Android 4.4 running devices.
Google adds that it has improved the performance of Gmail Android app on low-memory devices, so you are a budget smartphone or tablet users, you should expect faster and improved app after the latest update.
