Oppo has finally announced that the CyanogenMod edition of its N1 smartphone will be available to purchase from Oppo Style store beginning December 24. It is the first smartphone with CyanogenMod to come with Google CTS certification that means it is officially coming bundled with full Google suite of applications.
“The Oppo N1 device running CyanogenMod 10.2 has officially passed Google’s CTS and CDD certification programs, which marks a major milestone for everyone in this project, not just those working on the N1 project itself. This has been something a long time in the making, ever since CM 4.0.4,” ciwrl of CM team wrote in a post.
To remind you, Oppo N1 CyanogenMod edition comes with 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16/ 32GB of storage, 3610 mAh battery, and 5.9-inch 1080p display. The phone also comes with Android 4.3-based CyanogenMod 10.2, 13MP rotating camera, dual-LED flash and the usual set of connectivity options.
The phone will most probably be sold at $599, same as the Color OS-based standard model but we are yet to any official confirmation.
