Google today announced in a blog post that Samsung Chromebook is now available in the Indian market. This is the third Chromebook to reach the country after recently launched Acer and HP Chromebooks.
Priced at INR 26,990, the Chromebook can be grabbed from Flipkart, Cromaretail.com as well as Reliance Digital and Croma brick and mortar stores. Google notes that Croma and Reliance Digital won’t just sell the Samsung Chromebook but the entire range of Chromebooks available in the country will be available at their stores in a total of seven cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore.
Coming to the Samsung Chromebook, it features 11.6-inch 1366x768p display, 1.7GHz Exynos 5 dual processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of SSD, 0.3MP webcam, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n. It also comes with one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port as well as HDMI out, SD card slot, audio jack and Bluetooth.
“Starting today, people in India have more hassle-free options with the launch of the Samsung Chromebook.
