Samsung has decided to touch a new low in terms of the tablet specifications with its upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. According to a report in SamMobile, Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will come with model number SM-T11 and get a price-tag around 100 euros.
This pricing and the tablet name suggest that Samsung will be including specifications inferior to the existing Galaxy Tab 3 in this upcoming tablet. There is no word on the exact specifications but we can expect a single-core Intel processor or dual-core Broadcom/ Spreadtrum chip along with 7-inch 1024x600p display, 1GB/ 768MB of RAM, 2MP rear camera, front camera and Jelly Bean.
The tablet is reportedly arriving in January 2014 in both Wi-Fi and 3G options.
8-inch and 10-inch AMOLED display tablets
In related news, Samsung is also working on two tablets with 8-inch and 10-inch AMOLED display, which will most probably be a part of its high-end offerings.
According to a report in Naver.com, the AMOLED display panels have already gone in mass production. We can expect an announcement about these tablets in the first half of the next year.
Other details are unclear at this moment.
