Little Eye Labs, an India start-up making tools for Android app performance analysis, has been acquired by Facebook. The start-up confirmed the news on its website earlier today. Although, there is official word on the financial details of the deal, TechCrunch claims it to be around $10-15 million.
According to Little Eye Labs, its team will move to Facebook headquarters in California and work on what it does best – making mobile app development better.
“We’re very excited to announce that Facebook is acquiring our company. With this acquisition, Little Eye Labs will join forces with Facebook to take its mobile development to the next level,” Little Eye Labs team wrote on the website.
For a start-up that was founded about a year ago and officially launched its first product just nine months ago, it is a big feat, especially in Indian start-up ecosystem, where high-profile acquisitions are not common.
