As we reported earlier, Oppo announced its entry in the Indian market today with the launch of its flagship Oppo N1 smartphone at a press event in New Delhi today. Priced at INR 39,999, the smartphone will go on sale in the coming days.
Originally introduced in September 2013, Oppo N1 features a 5.9-inch full HD display, 2GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor. It also comes with a 13MP rotating camera, which can work both as rear camera and front camera. In addition, the smartphone packs Android 4.2-based Color OS, 3610 mAh battery, 16GB of storage, and the usual set of connectivity options.
According to Oppo, N1 also includes a 12 sq cm rear touch panel, which helps in one-handed use of the smartphone. Dubbed as O-Touch, it can be used to scroll, tap, or snap photos – all without your fingers blocking the display.
Oppo is initially introducing the 16GB model in the country, there is no word on the pricing or availability of 32GB version.
