Samsung testing new user-interface for Galaxy S5

Samsung TouchWiz leak@evleaks have shared renders of a user-interface, which is reportedly being tested by Samsung for its next flagship smartphone – Galaxy S5. It is quite plausible that Samsung would be testing multiple interfaces for S5, so this could be just one of them and might not even appear in the final device, however it is nice to Samsung trying to shift from its usual design language.

Talking about the leaked interface, as you can see, Samsung has taken some elements from HTC’s Blinkfeed but mostly it is typographical and iconography related changes. You still have the same five icons on the bottom, however the lock-screen looks a little different. We will have to wait for more such leaks to get a clear idea of how much of a change Samsung planning to include in the next version of TouchWiz (if it is still called that in the new version).

There are no other new details available at this point. To remind you, Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumoured to arrive in May with top of the line specs, such as QHD display, new Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM, 16MP rear camera, Android 4.4 and 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage.
