Motorola is really keeping its promises especially when it comes to software updates. The company earlier today started rolling out Android 4.4.2 update for dual-SIM Moto G in Malaysia. The update comes just a fortnight after the phone was released in the country.
With KitKat already available for Moto G dual-SIM version, Indian consumers shouldn’t have to wait much longer. Motorola’s Punit Soni has already promised KitKat roll-out for Moto G in India within a matter of days.
Coming to the update specific details, 230MB in size, the update doesn’t look to be different from the one, which was released for the single-SIM version. It includes KitKat specific goodies like immersive mode, colour emoji support, improved closed captioning support, stronger security, smarter power use, and more tools. It also packs new dialler app, more editing options in Gallery app, and updated version of Hangouts app. (via)

Motorola has confirmed to Pocket Lint that it will just be giving business related update at this event, however we still hope to get some news about the company’s future plans.
