We have seen several renders of the HTC One successor in the last fortnight and now, the first live images of the phone are here. Leaked on a forum earlier today, these image show the smartphone in some kind of a bumper case, most probably official.
This leak confirms that the renders were indeed accurate and the new HTC One is indeed going to look like its predecessor apart from the odd tweaks.
Set to be announced on March 25, the phone is expected to features a 5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, and KitKat with Sense 6.0. According to the leaker of the live images, the front camera in the phone is 4MP unlike the previous rumours that suggested a 5MP front camera. There is no way to authenticate these claims, so we will take this with a pinch of salt. On the other hand, the rear camera will include two sensors, one for low-light and another for proper lighting.
Among other newly revealed details, the new HTC One is reportedly “thinner than the 2013 ONE [sic] and taller.”
HTC has already started teasing the phone everywhere and has even confirmed the name –“new HTC One” in its latest teaser.
