After the launch of Oppo N1, Oppo has now released Neo and Find 5 Mini in the Indian market. The smartphones are currently available at online retailer Snapdeal.com.
Talking about Oppo Neo first, this entry-level smartphone from Oppo, was originally unveiled in January this year. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, and Android 4.2 based Color OS. The phone also packs 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 1900 mAh battery and dual-SIM support.
In addition, Neo includes 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and the usual set of connectivity options.
Oppo Neo is retailing for INR 11,900 and will be competing with the likes of Moto G.
Coming to Oppo Find 5 Mini, a 4.7-inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 2000 mAh battery. The phone also comes with 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera and dual-SIM support.
It has been priced at INR 19,490 and will be competing with the likes of XOLO Q1100.
Despite being an unknown smartphone vendor in India, Oppo continues to price its smartphone very high, we are not sure what kind of its strategy is the company taking here. Not many consumers would like to buy a smartphone from a company that it us unknown and sells its devices at a premium no matter how critically acclaimed its devices are.
