Remember the leaked Xperia G smartphone, well Sony has announced it as Xperia M2 and M2 dual today at its Mobile World Congress press event. Featuring Android 4.3 and quad-core Qualcomm processor, the phone will be released globally starting April 2014.

Sony Xperia M2 features a 4.8-inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot. The phone also comes with 8MP rear camera, front camera, 2300 mAh battery and dual-SIM support (only in M2 dual).
SmartBand SWR10 and Lifelog application available from March 2014
In related news, Sony has also announced that the Sony SmartBand SWR10, which was first showcased at CES 2014, will go on sale next month in 60 markets. The company will also release the Lifelog app at the same time.
