Indian smartphone maker Lava has announced the launch of IRIS Pro 20 Android smartphone today in the country. The phone has been priced at INR 13,999 and will go on sale in the coming days.
The phone features a 4.7-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 4GB of internal storage and Android 4.2.1. In addition, Lava has included 2000 mAh battery, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 1GB of RAM on the smartphone.
“With the tremendous response that we received after the launch of Iris Pro 30, we are now launching another product in this series to address similar needs at a different price point. The premiumness of Iris Pro 20 extends itself beautifully from Iris Pro 30 and we believe that the product will deliver an unmatched experience to consumers who want a combination of exquisite beauty and unmatched functionality,” said Hari Om Rai, Chairman and Managing Director, Lava International Ltd.
Given the specifications, the pricing of the phone is way more than what it should be. There are many other better options than the phone like Moto G, XOLO Q900 and Lenovo S820 with similar or better pricing.
