Samsung Galaxy Ace Style budget Android phone, which was spotted in Germany recently, has now been made official by the company. Announced today on the Samsung’s global blog, the phone will be available in markets around the world starting this month in White and Dark Gray colour options. There is no word on the pricing at this point, which should be under $170.
Samsung Galaxy Ace Style runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and comes with features like 4-inch WVGA display, 512MB of RAM, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1500 mAh battery. The phone also packs Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, Samsung has included a 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera on Ace Style in addition to some useful software tweaks like One Camera Preview.
This might not seem like an earth-shattering device but if priced great, it could turn out be a big success for the company. It looks like a perfect Galaxy Y replacement for 2014. Every manufacturer should keep these specifications as the minimum threshold for any budget smartphone. If you go below this, the Android device won’t provide a good experience.
