Acer is making a big push in the smartphone market and will be showcasing as many as five new Android phones at Computex 2014 next week. We have already talked about Liquid Z200, Liquid E600 and Liquid E700 and now, it is the turn of Liquid X1.
The new Acer Liquid X1 is a phablet and comes with 5.7-inch 720p HD display, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera, 2700 mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. In addition, the Liquid X1 includes 4G support and the usual connectivity options.
“The Acer Liquid X1 comes with a number of distinct features that make it much easier to control and operate. Among them is Acer Zoom Fit, which adjusts the user interface to just 4-inches when operating the device with one hand is required,” Acer noted in a press release.
“It also comes built with the AcerRAPID design on the back which allows users to quickly launch the camera, pick up phone calls or their favorite apps with the touch of a finger. With AcerFLOAT user interface, app windows can stay open, so users can multitask without having to back out of one app to work on another. The press of the multi-task key brings up the Float Apps where opened apps on a translucent screen float over the function being used,” the company added.
Like other new Acer devices, Liquid X1 will also go on sale in Q3, 2014.
