New details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 4 phablet have appeared online. According to a report in SamMobile, the Korean smartphone giant is planning to introduce several new features with Note 4, which will be aimed to improve the user-experience.
SamMobile notes that some of these features will be ‘Swipe to launch Motion Launcher’, ‘Aqua Capture’, ‘Multi Network for Booster’, and ‘Smart Fingerprint.’ Although the exact nature of any of these features is unknown, the names do give us an idea of the underlying functionality.
Starting with Smart Fingerprint, which indicates the presence of fingerprint scanner on the phone, the feature is expected to allow the users to customise actions for fingerprint scans on the device. On the other hand, Aqua Capture will be related to under-water imaging. Swipe to launch Motion launcher is likely to let the users define swipe-related actions like swipe right for opening camera app or swipe left to play music. ‘Multi Network for Booster’ is an odd one, not sure what it will be doing. It could have something to do with network boosting or combining Wi-Fi and Cellular data for faster downloads.
To remind you, as per a previous leak, Note 4 will include a 5.7-inch qHD (2560x1440p) display and carries the codename “Muscat.” We hope to hear more in the coming weeks as there is still a lot of time in the release of Note 4 and the leaks have just started coming in.
