XOLO has announced the launch of its new entry-level Android smartphone Q1011 in the Indian market. Set to exclusively go on sale on June 27 at Amazon.in, the phone has been priced at INR 9,999.
As per a press release issued by the company, the phone features a 5-inch 720p HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, Android 4.4, and 2250 mAh battery. The phone also comes with dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
According to XOLO, the phone also supports gesture input, so you can simple draw letters on the phone screen to quick access apps.
“Now all your applications are just a flick away! Simply write an “e” to access web browser, “c” to access dial pad and “m” to access the camera when your phone is in the sleep or standby mode,” explained XOLO.
In addition, the Q1011 packs dual-SIM support, 3G and the usual set of connectivity options. As you can see, these are some decent specifications for the given price-tag, which coupled with the presence of Android 4.4, make Q1011 a good sub-10K smartphone.
It will be released in Black and White colour options and the company will be bundling free 16GB microSD card for the first 3000 buyers.
