XOLO working on its own user-interface for Android phones: Report

XOLO UI

Will debut on the company’s upcoming 5-inch KitKat flagship

XOLO is all set to enter the club of Android manufacturers, who release their devices with custom user-interface. The company is reportedly working on a custom UI for its upcoming Android smartphone, which will be arriving in the coming weeks.

The exact specifics of this interface are unclear but the company is said to be including support for themes and will give the consumers freedom to tweak the looks.  The new UI will also feature a dedicated media console and newly designed control panel.

“Our insider tells us that with the new UI, the company is trying to give the much needed freedom to all its consumers. The new ROM that provides a unique set of features and enhancements over the stock Android will allow you to interact and engage amongst your fellow users and with the company’s developers itself,” GSM Arena wrote in a report.

According to the publication, this phone will sport a 5-inch HD display and come with octa-core processor, Android 4.4 and 2GB of RAM.  Other specifications are unknown but we expect to see a 13MP rear camera, front camera and 16GB of internal storage.

The phone is expected to be announced in the second week of July.
