After a limited sale for consumers with early access and priority pass, Xiaomi and Flipkart have now opened the sale of Mi 3 smartphone for all registered users. If you had registered for Mi 3 at Flipkart until yesterday, you will be able to order the phone now.
According to Xiaomi, it has received over 100,000 registrations to buy Mi 3 in the country. So, expect a huge rush and it will be first come and first serve. It is still not clear how many units Xiaomi is putting for the sale today but it won’t be a really big number. Also, the consumers will only be able to purchase one Mi 3 smartphone per Flipkart account, so don’t try to add more units to your Flipkart cart, your whole order will be cancelled.
Update: The phone has been sold out within 40 minutes.
To remind you, Mi 3 has been priced at INR 13,999 in the country and only the 16GB version is available. As Mi 3 is only sold in one colour option – Metallic Grey, you won’t have any choices in this department either.

Mi 3 features a 5-inch full HD display and is powered by 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274AB processor. It also packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and 3050 mAh battery.
The Indian version of Mi 3 runs on Android 4.4 based MIUI v5 and comes pre-loaded with full suite of Google applications as well as Play Store access.
