Expanding its tablet portfolio, the Indian e-retailer Flipkart today announced the launch of five new Android tablets in the country. Part of the retailer’s DigiFlip label, the new tablets are DigiFlip Pro XT911, Pro XT901, Pro XT811, Pro XT801 and Pro ET701. These tablets will join the already available Digiflip Pro XT712 in the market.
Built in the partnership with chip maker Intel, all five tablets are powered by Intel Atom processors.
Coming to the individual tablets, the new DigiFlip Pro XT911 features an 8.9-inch 1920x1200p IPS display, 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.2.2. The tablet also comes with 16GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and 6500 mAh battery. In addition, the tablet includes 3G and voice-calling support. Digiflip Pro XT901 is the Wi-Fi only variant of XT911.
On the other hand, DigiFlip Pro XT811 sports an 8-inch 1280x800p IPS display and is also powered by 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor and Android 4.2. Among other specifications, the tablet packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4200 mAh battery, 3G and Wi-Fi support. DigiFlip Pro XT801 is the Wi-Fi only variant of XT811.
Lastly, the DigiFlip Pro ET701 includes a 7-inch 1024x600p IPS display, 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.2. The tablet also features 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2800 mAh battery, 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front shooter. In addition, ET701 supports Wi-Fi and 3G via USB dongle.

Flipkart has stated that all the tablets will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat update but did not share an exact time-frame for the roll-out.
Availability and pricing:
According to Flipkart, the XT911 and XT901 will retail for INR 15,999 and INR 13,999 respectively, while the XT811, XT801 and ET701 will be available for INR 10,999, INR 8,999 and INR 5,999 respectively. The tablets go on sale immediately at the e-retailer and can be ordered from links given at the end of the report.
