IFA might still be a few days away but Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has already started announcing new smartphones. The company on Tuesday introduced the new Desire 510, which is a mid-range smartphone.
Although the company has not revealed the pricing of the phone. The announcement is filled with indications that it is going to be affordable.
“Owning the latest and greatest technology shouldn’t be reserved for those with the highest budgets. People today should expect their smartphones to double as mobile entertainment hubs. This means ensuring that they’re fully loaded with the latest movies, TV shows and albums, by taking advantage of the super-fast network speeds available. The HTC Desire 510 does this and more, making it the perfect mobile media device,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.
Coming to the specifications, the Desire 510 features a 4.7-inch FWVGA display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 32-bit version, Android 4.4 with Sense UI and 2100 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 4G LTE support.
On the imaging font, HTC has included 5MP rear camera and VGA front shooter on the smartphone.
Availability: According to HTC, the Desire 510 will be released in Europe, Asia and the United States in Terra White and Meridian Grey colour options.
