Videocon Mobile Phones on Friday announced the launch of its new Infinium Graphite Android smartphone in the country. Priced at INR 10,499, this budget smartphone will be available in the coming days.
“With the Infinium Graphite we are pushing the boundaries of affordable flagship devices, with which we aim to capture the emerging budget smartphone market of the country. Today consumers are much awake to the fact that cutting-edge features can be experienced in budget prices, and thus are preferring devices which offer them this niche,” said Jerold Pereira, CEO, Videocon Mobile Phones.
Coming to the specifications, Videocon Infinium Graphite features 4.7-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of on-board storage. The phone also comes with 1800 mAh battery, 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor & 5P lens, 5MP front shooter with wide-angle lens and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Videocon has also included a number of software enhancements on the phone like Auto Answer, Auto Switch Speaker, Reversal Silence, and Touch Gesture Awake as well as preloaded apps such as Hungama Music (with 100 free content download for 30 days), Try & Buy Gameloft Games, V-Secure, and V-Safe SOS app.
The phone will be competing with the likes of Moto G (2nd Gen), Moto G, Asus Zenfone 5, and Xiaomi Redmi 1S in the country.
