Chinese smartphone start-up OnePlus has announced that its One smartphone will be available at Amazon India beginning December 2. The registrations to get an invite to purchase the smartphone are now open at OnePlus.net/in.
There is no word on the final India pricing of the phone, but the 64GB version of the phone has been said to retail around INR 25,000 in the country.
India is the first market for OnePlus One where it will have a local-presence outside China. The company is also setting up a service centre network in the country, but details about the same are unclear at this point.
Originally introduced earlier this year, OnePlus One has been the talk of the town for many months now because of the great value-for-money ratio of the smartphone. The phone packs an impressive set of specifications and retails for just $350 in select markets.
To remind you, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 4.4-based CyanogenMod 11s. The OnePlus One also packs 3100 mAh battery, 13MP rear camera with f2.0, and 5MP front shooter.
As per the details available right now, OnePlus One is only going to release the 64GB version of the Sandstone Black colour option (pictured above) in the country at first. You can find more information about the phone and the buying process at the source.
