E-retailer Amazon India has revealed that Samsung’s new budget Android smartphone Galaxy J1, which was recently introduced in the Malaysian market, is set to be released in the country on February 11.
As per the e-retailer’s statements on social media, the Galaxy J1 has been priced at INR 7,190 and will be initially available on its website with various exciting offers. The details of these offers are unclear at this point.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy J1 smartphone features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core cortex-A7 processor, 512MB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone also packs 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, FM Radio, and 1850 mAh battery. On the imaging front, Samsung has included 5MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front shooter in the phone.
At the given price-tag, the phone will be competing with the likes of Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4 in the country, both of which are cheaper than the Samsung phone and include mostly better specifications.
