After revising the prices of Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra phones, Sony has introduced the Xperia XA1 Plus phone in the Indian market. The new smartphone carries a price-tag of INR 24,990 and will go on sale September 22 in Black, Blue and Gold colours.
Sony Xperia XA1 Plus was announced at the IFA trade fair on August 31 and is targeted to the consumers who want a better imaging experience in a mid-range budget. The phone features a 23-megapixel primary camera with f2.0 aperture, 24mm wide-angle lens and support for up to ISO 6400 (ISO 3200 for videos). On the front, Sony has included an 8-megapixel selfie camera with 23mm wide-angle lens, f2.0 aperture and support for up to ISO 3200.
Among other specifications, the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus packs a 5.5-inch full HD display, MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor, 4-gigabytes of RAM, 32-gigabytes of internal storage and microSD card slot.
Unlike other Sony phones unveiled at the IFA, XA1 Plus doesn’t run Android Oreo out of the box and you will be getting Android 7.1 Nougat. The company will later release the Oreo update for the phone.
In related news, Sony will be releasing the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact phones in India on September 25.
